Privacy policy
At Cargalicante we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains how we handle the information you give us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). This is an English translation provided for convenience.
Data controller
(Cargalicante), based at Calle Susana Llaneras, 22, 03001 Alicante (Alicante), Spain. Contact email: info@cargalicante.com.
Why we process your data
The details you send us through the form, or by phone, email or WhatsApp, are used only to:
- Answer your enquiry and prepare your installation quote.
- Contact you to arrange the technical site survey and follow up the work.
- Where applicable, handle the installation paperwork (certificate, registration and tax documentation).
Legal basis
The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form or contact us, together with pre-contractual measures taken at your request (preparing the quote).
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, if you go ahead, for the legal periods applicable to the contractual and tax relationship. If no contract results, the data is deleted once it is no longer needed.
Recipients and processors
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. To handle your enquiry we use technology providers acting as data processors under the GDPR:
- Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (Google Workspace and Apps Script), which receives and processes the form submission.
- Airtable, Inc. (United States), where the request is stored for management.
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Some of these providers are located in, or may process data in, the United States: such international transfers rely on the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We will also disclose your data where there is a legal obligation or where it is essential to the service (for example, filing the installation certificate with the regional authority or dealing with the electricity distribution company).
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@cargalicante.com, stating the right you wish to exercise. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
