01The story

How Cargalicante came about

Cargalicante started from a simple observation: on the coast with more foreign homeowners than anywhere else in Spain, the person switching to an electric car ends up choosing between a national franchise running the same cloned page for fifty provinces and an electrician who has never wired a charger before. Neither of them explains anything in English, and neither of them is here next year.

We work to three habits we do not bend: measure the garage before committing to a figure, finish every job with its certificate registered, and describe the tax situation exactly as it is — including the times when the honest answer is that a scheme has closed, or that a deduction does not reach a non-resident. The rest is handled by a car that wakes up charged.

Today Cargalicante concentrates on one service and one province: EV charging points across Alicante and the Costa Blanca. No other trades, no other regions.

Take the friction out of it

Going electric in Spain should not require learning a foreign set of wiring regulations or chasing anybody by phone. We bring the engineering, the paperwork and a fixed price; you bring the place where you park.

A coast that charges at home

A province where cars fill up quietly in the garage — off the roof at midday or off the cheap window at night — and public chargers go back to being what they are for: the journey, not the routine.

The technical truth

If 7.4 kW is enough for you, nobody here will sell you three-phase. If a grant is dead, you will read it on this website before you read it anywhere else. An informed customer comes back; a dazzled one complains.

03How we work

The way we do things

One job, done properly

We are not general electricians who also do chargers. The charging point is the only thing we install, and that narrowness is where the useful knowledge lives: which enclosure survives sea air in Torrevieja, and what a Benidorm administrator expects to receive before you touch the garage.

Certified, every single time

A dedicated circuit, the protective devices required by ITC-BT-52, the electrical installation certificate and its registration with the regional authority — on every job, without being asked. Paperwork with i-DE or your local cooperative is included. An uncertified charger is a problem waiting for the day you sell.

Figures before adjectives

Price ranges published openly, quotes broken down line by line, and no grant advertised that has already closed. We would rather lose the customer hunting for a miracle and keep the one who compares on facts.

Explained in English, start to finish

The survey, the quote, the options, the certificate and what the tax office does and does not allow — all of it in English, in writing where it matters. Not a translated brochure: a conversation you can actually make a decision from.
